Sharks News for 2008


2007 was a tough season for us with so many injuries, but this year promises to be so much more. We have adopted a new brand to celbrate the new year and a new start for the Sharks.

We have new coaches and players, who are eagerly anticipating the challenges that wait for us this summer. Nevertheless, we are confident that our experienced players, along with our new signings will take us to the next level.

The Sharks players fought some tough battles in last season's connference, but they have come through, and will return this year stronger and more determined to be more than just 'tough opposition'.

2008 also sees the introduction of the Sharks Junior Section with an under 15s side - Swansea East Junior Sharks, who's players will come from the Loughor, Gowerton, Gorseinon and Penclawdd areas; and also, an under 14s side - Dinefwr Junior Sharks, who have players from Llandeilo, Cross Hands, Ammanford and Llandybie.

Furthermore, there is interest elsewhere, in potentially setting up more new junior sides - so watch this space for more information.
